Prescriptions Provided Following Your Appointment
If you require a prescription following your consultation with one of the doctors or nurses this will be provided. The prescription can be printed or, in many cases, sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice.
We issue a 1-month supply of medication; there are a few exceptions to this and you will be made aware if applicable to you. Following the initial prescription, further prescriptions should be sought from your GP. Your GP will receive a copy of the clinic letter, including information of any prescriptions issued.
As a service there are some rules, set by the NHS Kent & Medway ICB, that we must adhere to with regards prescribing. One of the main requirements is that we should not prescribe products which can be purchased over the counter, such as topical treatments for warts.
