Dr Katy Hine

Dr Katy Hine is a GP with an extended role in dermatology (GPwER). Dr Hine completed her medical training at St Bartholomews Hospital Medical School in 1996. Since then she has worked at various hospitals in London and in Australia and also did a stint as a Flying Doctor for a while. Dr Hine trained as a GP in Canterbury and completed her GP training in 2002 when she obtained her MRCGP qualification.
Dr Hine then worked in Perth, Australia for a number of years mainly in paediatric accident and emergency and also adult accident and emergency, working in both at hospital Registrar level. She also did some part time General Practice alongside her work in accident and emergency medicine during her last year in Perth. She returned to the UK in 2005 and has worked as a GP since this date.
Dr Hine completed her Diploma in Practical Dermatology in 2011 and was awarded her postgraduate diploma with distinction by the University of Cardiff. She completed her GPwER training in 2023 and has been working as a GPwER in Dermatology alongside her work as a General Practitioner.
