Dr Sandra Varga

Dr Sandra Varga has been practising Dermatology for over 18 years and is fully qualified Consultant Dermatologist. She provides specialist care in all areas of Dermatology in both adults and children. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, International Dermoscopy Society, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. Her special interests include mole checks, Dermoscopy examination, skin cancer, general adult and paediatric dermatology.
D Varga graduated with honours at Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic in 2004. She then worked at University Hospital in Brno before moving to the UK in 2007. Her UK Dermatology journey started at Aintree University Hospitals, Liverpool before moving to Kent, where she worked at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust as a Specialist Doctor and subsequently as a Consultant before starting working as a Community Consultant Dermatologist at Whitstable Medical Practice in 2014. She was previously awarded various scholarships (e.g. at 69th Annual Meeting by American Academy of Dermatology, also Fostering Dermatology and Venereology Scholarship by European Academy of Dermatology). She has also published various articles mainly about moles and skin cancer. She also presented multiple case reports/audit findings on international level in the Czech Republic, Germany and USA.
The majority of her week is focused on the Dedicated dermatology care to the patients but she is also a key person in training, supervising and supporting young doctors and specialist nurses in their training to help them to achieve their full potential for the best care of the patients.
