Dr Zainab Al-Gawahiri graduated from Al-Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad with an MBChB in 1988. She started her practice as a paediatrician and then branched out into dermatology where she studied at Cardiff University and obtained an MSc and Clinical Diploma in 2008. She has worked in different NHS hospitals since then, including East Kent, Liverpool, Basildon, Mayflower, Medway and Warrington. Since 2017 she has been running community Dermatology clinics across the UK including Colchester, London, Wolverhampton and Gillingham. She is a member of the RCP and has a special interest in skin cancers.
