Jodie Green is a Dermatology Nurse and a part of the East Kent Community Dermatology service team at Whitstable Medical Practice. She has been practising in this speciality for the past 5 years. Jodie performs minor procedures under local anaesthetic to help diagnose and treat skin conditions and skin cancers. In addition to this, she has nurse-led clinics including isotretinoin treatment reviews for acne and cryotherapy.
She also has experience in many aspects of Dermatology services and Skin Surgery as she has previously worked in this speciality in secondary care. This includes her previous role as the Mohs micrographic surgery key worker.
Previously, Jodie trained at Plymouth University to complete her BSc Honors in Adult Nursing. She then went on to complete a medical rotation in secondary care at a Cardiology Unit and Reparatory Ward before nursing in an Intensive Care and High Dependency Unit.
